here is a very good turkey recipe for Xmas dinner that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing imagine that
when i found this recipe i thought it was perfect for people like me who are not to sure how to tell when a tutkey is thoroughly cooked but not to dry
give it a try
1 turkey
1 cup of butter
i cup of stuffing
i cup of uncooked popcorn
salt and pepper to taste
preheat oven to 200 degrees
brush turkey well with the melted butter and salt and pepperfill cavity with stuffing mixed with popcorn
place in baking pan with the neck end towards the back of the oven
listen for popping sounds when the turkeys arse blows the oven door open and the turkey flies across the room and lands on the table its done and ready to eat

Doug,
I actually thought this was a serious post; I thought it was a great way of ascertaining when the turkey was cooked. Imagine my disappointment when I read to the end.
