I met one of these yesterday and it was hilarious! Most breeders seem to only sell them to indoor only homes which wouldn't really work with us because of the horses and dogs and being out with them all the time.
Does anyone have one which joins them in their stable yard in the daytime? Or have experience of keeping one indoors successfully while having the horses at home? |

I used to look after one, and rolf harris has several, lol. One thing with them is their appetitie, they eat, and eat, and EAT! Seriously, the ones i used to know used to bust into food cupboards and eat anything they could find! I remember Rolf on a documentary said the same about his!
Very cute little yoda's though, especially as kittens

yeah my Maine coon has no fear! if something goes crash in the house Moggy runs in four different directions Maine coon is first to go and investigate LOL we also had to stop using candles as unfortunately she made a noise like a dog Whoof went her tail as she sauntered past a candle (don't panic she was fine) but still has no respect for hot bright burny things, she also likes bonfire night sits on the windowsill watching the displays!! hard work keeping a cat with no fear inside..Moggy just hides for a few nights only coming out with bribes of Tuna and cuddles.

I can imagine this one not being overly streetwise, wasn't remotely afraid of me, raced over to say hello and within 5 mins was curled round my neck and trying to sit in the hood on my hooded top! He also did a lovely forward roll off my shoulder onto the table!
I've found a caramel tabby kitten available in nottingham, cute as a button! |

My pure bred cat was sold to me to be a house cat, she now a dirty little stop out loves playing in the garden and bringing her friends home especially Mr Slug he hitches a ride on her tail! I think from what i was told they are not as street wise as moggy cats,so safer staying in? If you do get one please post a pic i think they are gorgeous |

The boy I met was certainly naughty and full of fun! He did have a very fine coat but I can imagine him enjoying a ride in the wheelbarrow (or on the dog!) round the yard and playing in the straw

Devon and Cornish Rex cats seem to do better indoors. The wavy coat is very thin in places, although from memory the breed standard (haven't looked at it in years) would prefer that this is not the case.
Both breeds are different in type but similar in purrsonality being naughty and full of fun and come in quite a few colours. (Probably more now than when I had dealings with them about 15 years or so ago now)
They are terrific fun to have around. |

Not exactly but as a child I had 2 Ermine Rex rabbits and they lived outside in a hutch with some others, never seemed to suffer from cold and lived to a ripe old age, their coats were short like velvet but very dense, lovely to stroke! |
