Posted - 10 Jun 2009 : 11:58:48 PM Programme on Channel 4 this evening, it was first aired last week but I missed it.
It is wrong on so many levels I can't even describe it.
3 day old baby monkeys bought for $4500 brought up as babies by american couples.
They wear dresses, nappies and one even had make-up applied.
IMHO it should be against the law.
What do you think? |

Posted - 11 Jun 2009 : 09:18:50 AM Did'nt watch programme. All I know is from watching Monkey World, Dorset on TV (brilliant series) it is awful to take them from their natural habitat, and to pretend they are your babies and dress them up. I feel sorry for the ignorant humans if they think they have a replacement baby, they have a monkey. And where do the baby monkeys come from...its so wrong. I also feel it should be against the law, but obviously money talks. |
