Posted - 09 Jun 2009 : 10:04:13 PM Angie she's such a soul mate! Born same day as me and I fell in love with her when I came to buy Amiah. She didn't leave my gaze til I was out of eyesight, destined to be together! And she saved Whinney's life......if she hadn't called and called I wouldn't have gone back to see Whin in colic throws on the grass;she knew something was wrong and knew she had to get my attention |

Posted - 09 Jun 2009 : 1:55:07 PM Ahh Tat she looks beautiful. I had the pleasure of buying Zoe from Cyril & Laura at Oasis, I purchased 4 horses in total from them over the years. I was lucky enough to have Silver Ruler on loan for a year too (Bo, he was charactor!) and had been one of the lucky few to ride both Bo and Sam (Prince Saraph) out over Bursledon County Park. Happy memories |

Posted - 07 Jun 2009 : 10:45:49 PM Prince Seraph was in his stable and was very pleased to see me. I wish I had seen him out as he was lovely. So was Cyril's other stallion Silver Ruler.
I only saw Honourine out in field, and to be honest I'm not sure which one was which because Cyril just said their names but I do know that he spoke very highly of her.

Posted - 07 Jun 2009 : 7:11:04 PM She looks very happy and well, and is very beautiful
I think we must have had a whirlwind in our field a couple of years ago, I'd just put the hay out (think it was late autumn) and turned round to do something to find no hay! Every scrap had gone, no sign in the neighbouring fields and nobody around. And a previous YO lost half the crop of hay off one field in a mini tornado too!

Posted - 07 Jun 2009 : 6:27:09 PM She's very content! If you could see further down you'd see her feed bucketShe loves her food.....she chews each mouthful 50 times (we've counted),she goes into "the zone" when she eats and just chews and chews and chews. My 28 year old has suddenly developed a passion for bananasHe takes little bites like a person!! |

Posted - 07 Jun 2009 : 2:56:00 PM Thank you! Montikka she's by Prince Seraph ex The Lady Honourine (Haroun lines. She's so lovely and the sweetest mare The whirlwind was so strange! There was suddenly this rushing sound and all the hay was lifted up and spun in a funnel about 10 foot across and 6 feet high and spun across the paddock to the gate (about 30 feet) dropping hay everywhere!! Made me think of the power the bigguns have to wreak the distruction on homes...scary but bloomin fascinating to watch!! |
