NORTH
WALES REGIONAL GROUP SUMMER SHOW 12/08/07
As a Group we really enjoy the opportunity of
putting on the shows at the Equine Unit of the Welsh College
of Horticulture at Northop. The facilities are excellent and
what with pleasant surroundings and easy access to and from
the main road it all contributes to making a good venue for

particularly members of the Group who took home prises!
We
were very grateful to Mr. Mark Gamlin our in hand Judge and
Louise Maryon, the ridden Judge.
Both had done a splendid
job during the day and we hope they both enjoyed their visit
to North Wales and of course we had the pleasure of the company
of our President, Mr. Alf Hallworth. Thank you to everybody
for supporting the Show. Also we must thank our stewards, Mr.
Alex Knott and Mr. John Penrose – we could not manage
without them; their usual professional skills make the Show
run like clockwork!
However we were disappointed at the poor turn out; where were
you all? What with shows having been cancelled (the disappointment
of Malvern in particular) and bad weather during the summer,
we had hoped you were saving yourselves for a trip to North
Wales! Please remember us for next year. The Spring Show is
booked for Saturday 5th April 2008 and the Summer Show Sunday
3rd August 2008 both at the same venue in Northop.
