There was only one successful completion in the 160km Griffin Nuumed
Golden Horseshoe - Lis Cooper's powerful part bred mare Song of Fire
(Spitfire - Sunlight Song). They took a bronze award in this most gruelling
ride and also collected the Premier Award, Best Lady Trophy, the Saxon
Trophy for best mare and the Showgirl Trophy for best part bred. Annabel
Ross's lovely part bred mare, the 18 year old East Burne Gemini (Noble
Imp - Boston Blue Haze) , sadly failed the final vetting.
