First the vote for the dissolution of BERA and EHPS
The vote for the dissolution of BERA and EHPS in favour of
one governing body for Endurance riding in this country went ahead at
the weekend. At a lively meeting in Kenilworth the vote was overwhelming
in favour - 189 for and only 14 against. The postal vote from EHPS was
counted on Monday morning and again the feeling was strongly in favour
of dissolution - 521 for and 230 against. This means that as from 1st
January 2002 Endurance GB will be the ruling body for the sport in this
country.
