ENDURANCE
GB held its 7th. AGM at the Hinckley Island Hotel,
Liecestershire during the weekend of 1st & 2nd.
December 2007.
EGB Chairman John Yeoman before starting the
formal proceedings explained it had been a year
to forget for many reasons but also it had been
a year with more than its fair share of sadness
and grief at the loss of many Endurance friends. He
went on to say it had been a difficult year due
to the weather, Foot & Mouth and the subsequent
loss of many Rides from the EGB schedule. Before
continuing with the formal presentations he apologised,
and stated he would discuss finances later but
in the last EGB Magazine he estimated this year
we would lose £30K, this he said had been
wildly pessimistic even by his standards and
EGB would be reporting a profit this year.
There followed an enthusiastic and positive AGM.
At the lively EGB Blue Chip Awards Dinner after
the AGM, Lorna Winn announced Jenni Gilbert as
the 2007 Supreme Champion, presenting her with
a Saint Westwell Saddle.
