Time:2m 48

Rasma was held up then joined the leaders 4f out and led at the furlong pole only to be outsprinted in the final furlong.

WFA Prophecy looked fitter than at Taunton and got well into the race this time, leading or disputing the lead for most of the way only to find no extra in the final 2 furlongs.

Cassariah pulled her way into the lead with 6f to go and led again inside the final furlong but was caught by Just Taurean who had dropped 6 lengths off the pace 4f out but came with a very strong run in the final 2f.

The time was slow and they finished in a heap so it's difficult to know what to make of the form.

Field of Dreams was disqualified and placed last after his rider failed to weigh in.

Chiloe got away on terms today but faded in the last 3 furlongs.

Spring Harmony got a bit behind the others and never really got into the race. Spring Psalm pulled hard and led but faded in the straight.

Field of Dreams came with a strong run in the final furlong when the race was over. His best form is over 10f. Sugar Dandy is best at 6f and had the race sewn up when scooting clear at the 2f marker.

Starinsky was reluctant at the start but got away on terms then dropped away 4 f out. Phaymon pulled hard and set a strong pace, dropped away rounding the home turn then ran on again in the final furlong.

Borago was held up and looked dangerous 3f out but couldn’t match the pace of the winner and has better form over 10f. Doriket enjoyed the strong pace and came clear in the final 2 furlongs.

Time: 1m 25

Millenium Ibn Procyon soon led and kept on well when challenged in the final 3f. This was a good performance from 15lbs wrong at the weights and he ran to his handicap mark.

Pavot Al Kyle was always tracking the leader but never got to the front and ran 10lbs below his best form. That was over 10f at Chepstow when allowed to bowl along in front and over 6f at Goodwood.

Barbury is a tricky turning track with steep hills and possibly didn’t suit Pavot AL Kyle.

Sanji was also at a disadvantage on the rain soaked ground and was probably a bit below his very best, he had every chance in the race and was upsides at the 2 f pole but could find no extra.

Fayre Abi doesn’t look well handicapped but keeps winning and he produced the best turn of foot to go clear in the final furlong.

Time:4m 43

Non runner Gaynif Island Star tracked the leaders for most of the race but found nothing when asked in the straight. Sellwyn was ridden from 25 lengths in the rear and made up the ground to be on the heels of the leading bunch turning for home but had no extra. Ygnasio ran another good race leading until the winner went on 2f out.

Dhorgaam looked the likely winner 3f out but couldn't match the pace of the winner in the straight and his rider didn't appear to notice Komandor on her inside in the final furlong and so lost 2nd close home.

Komandor dropped out as usual and made up a lot of ground in the final 2 furlongs but never looked likely to get close. Majestic Omar pulled hard early but ran on well and clearly stays this distance well.

Martha Rivers got herself well behind in the first 2f and ran on to be nearest at the finish. She may need a feew furlongs more.

Doraman led and was clear entering the straight but the big hill finished him off and he was carrying his head very low in the final furlong. Babuska tracked the winner but never looked like winning.

Al Jabal was a popular winner and fully deserved his success, held up until the final 2f and then settling the race and holding on in the final furlong. He seems more effective at up to a mile.
