Taabeer (Vasilisk x Bisbille (Dormane)) built on his promising
effort at Exeter with an emphatic win in the maiden giving jockey
Phil Collington the first leg of a four timer, always handy Taabeer
powered home to win quite comfortably to give sire Vasilisk his
first UK winner. Proven Point (Vadeer x Prunelle De Ghazal (Djou
Said)) was up with the pace and stayed on dourly ahead of the
field, whilst Noni (Dormane x Cary De Carrere (Passem)) was well
beaten back in third.

Ring (Magic Ring x Reticent Bride) followed up her impressive
Huntingdon
win with another scorching victory here, she was always
going well under Simon Walker and won nicely to prove she is
firmly on the upgrade. Alastair Smellie (Sabrehill x Reel Foyle)
ran on strongly for second to prove he’s coming to hand
whilst Making Magic (Wizard King x Snowline) made an eye catching
debut back in third.

Maestro Al Maury (Dormane x Melusine Al Maury) followed up his
Huntingdon handicap win with a second victory here coming home
under a strong ride from promising jockey Barry Adams, he clearly
relishes these stamina sapping trips and is finding his form.
SA Bibi (Abitibi x Florich) ran on at the end to claim second
proving he does stay the trip, whilst Mehshiv (Normativ x Mehsha
(Shahpoor)) ran another good effort in third and his turn is
near.

The Way
To Go (Way To Go x Nepenthes Al Maury) finally repaid trainer
Glen Kiff’s
faith in her when leading from start to finish to claim her
first victory under a great ride from
Steve Harrison, this confidence boosting win under top weight
should see her continue her winning ways in this grade. Lady
Ace (Imman x Indrella Bint Procyon (Procyon)) also ran her best
race of the season claiming second in determined fashion from
stable mate Sabez (Mahbuba x Zalmera) who continues to hold his
form well.
The Brightwells Sells Winners at Ascot Handicap Stakes 1 Mile
6 Furlongs:

career win number 12 when dourly outstaying the field in fine
style under a confident ride from Phil Collington to give new
owners the Heslop’s their first winner Arabian racing.
A Mans Man (Dormane x Amira D’Albret) was one paced in
the final two furlongs but kept up to his work to hold off CS
Clarion (Chndaka x Cikada) for second.

Gill Duffield
lifted the veil on two potential superstars in No Risk Al Maury
and
Tash Reefat who fought out the finish of
the conditions event, stable jockey Phil Collington chose the
right horse as he steered No Risk Al Maury (Kesberoy x Nectarine
Al Maury) to victory, he looked impressive and holds a Derby
entry. Tash Reefat (Bengali D’Albret x Seglaoui) lost nothing
in defeat and made an eye catching debut but could’t reel
back the winner. Circuit Chaser (Virgule Al Maury x Miss Fast
Ptrack) stayed on for third and seemed to appreciate the step
up in trip.

A well deserved
win for WFA Leopard (Bengali D’Albret
x Lapsana (Silver Scenario)) who has maintained his form admirably
since being transferred to Sam Davison yard, he was a good second
behind CS Malik at Wolverhampton and completed a four timer for
jockey Phil Collington when coming home in fine style from Final
Fling (Djamel x FH Honey Mellon). The latter has been running
well in maidens this season and ran well under top weight to
claim second from Pavots Dreamboy (Pavot Al Maury x Autumn Dream)
who at one stage looked like winning until fading in the final
furlong.
