Hi there need a bit of advice, just wondered if anyone can give me some tips for travelling in a lorry - ramak tends to lean right on his bum in the lorry (didnt do this in the trailer) and has given himself a sore once or twice , I have bought him a special tail guard (armadillo) which really helps but, he still leans either side of his bum in the lorry! i have tried various padding but thats worse and he rubs even more, in the end i slapped event grease on which was much better but he came out with a black bottom...hmmmm
which when then had to wash which is fine but I just dont want him to be uncomfortable bless him..any thoughts?? thanks!xx

Can you pad the lorry instead?

Has he got enough room? Is the space in the lorry as big as he had before in the trailer? Is he still travelling pointing forwards or is he now sideways? Sounds like he is trying to balance himself, and if he didn't do this before then something must be different.

I've had the opposite problem - Ishara rubbed a huge hole in her neck yesterday it looks awful. She doesn't move around and appeared to actually be asleep as we were going along but was leaning against the breast bar so was going to try some padding but sounds like that could make it worse?

In both cases this really sounds like a balance problem, if you are interested there are exercises that can really help, please feel free to pm me.
