Okay, the next instalment. This is one of the two stallions presented to the Queen. I want him.
After the other 6 left the arena, this one remained and was taken to the centre, and at that exact point, I knew exactly what was going to happen next, and I was right.
Release the beast!!
^^^ By far, my favourite photo and all done with my mobile!! ^^^
Coming back to the handlers, happy with himself by the look on his face
That's it then guys. I have a new mission in life. Own that horse!!
Hope you have enjoyed the photos, I'll be printing some of those out I think!

We were laughing [myself and the three girls who came too] saying we should plonk Freya in the biggest field we have and let her have a go... Except she would likely try to get us to join in. Sociably madam doesn't understand that people [ME] don't enjoy being chased! |

Like Pasch said, WOW! Incredible to believe that in the past, the AHS has refused to register these true pearls of the desert!

He is absolutely splendid, and I agree with you Keren, incredible to believe that the AHS refused to register them.
Thank you for posting the photos Anna, I would have loved to be able to go. |

Out of all the times I've been, which is 18 times now, this was the best experience there I think. The wristbands we were lucky enough to get allowed us entry to the Owners & Riders area, so for example, during this Arab performance, Nick Skelton, Geoff Luckett and Ben Maher were chatting away right next to us, and occasionally answering one of our questions! Then later, during the meet of the hounds, a naughty dog called Dimble leapt the fence into the area where we were, and while me and Leanne tried to throw him back over the fence, John Whittaker suddenly appeared by our shoulder, and helped us get him back over the fence!! It really was an amazing day, plus, seeing the Queen and Prince Philip has, is and always will be the highlight of the day. |
