I have been reading on another forum about someone successfully treating sarcoids with toothpaste there are even some photos. Not sure if it will be of use to anyone but it was interesting reading.
Wow, that's quite amazing, wouldn't it be great if that was true for everyone who has a horse with sarcoids. When I first read your post though I did have a little chuckle, when I was a school girl we used toothpaste for everything from spots to erm hickies
There was a thread on here a while ago about using toothpaste and it said that it had to be certain make, can't remember if it was Colgate original; it wasn't the one used in the experiment.
I used crest toothpaste and fed her echinacea herb to build up immune system, as sarcoids are a virus. and it worked within 4 weeks it dried up and dropped of like a scab. fabulous!
Interesting, reading the post the lady says she bought toothpaste with the highest fluoride content she could buy. Now which brand would that be I wonder??
HI.I have used crest tooth paste on my mare, she had a small sarcoid and it has worked so far ,i keep checking her to see if it has reappeared and nothing so far ...im not saying it will work for everyone.but its worth a go and very cheap..
