Two weeks ago at Wales and West - Overall Ridden Champion, last Thursday Suffolk County Show - Ridden Arab Champion and two days later at Aintree Overall Ridden Champion!!
What a fantastic gelding, and having ridden him myself I have to say he is trained to perfection by Fiona Grant-Chivers (Thank you Fi for letting me ride your boy)
Azal is a one in a million who really deserves to get to the top, a true ambassador for the Arabian breed.
So huge congratulations to Ali, Joe, Fiona and Pat, Azal is a credit to you all.
Give the man a big hug from me, I am sure he is going to enjoy his well deserved break for a few weeks
Mandy, you beat me to it I was just about to say exactly the same as you.
Azal is a horse in a million and I think he deserves all the Championships he wins. Fiona and Azal clearly have a special bond and I believe he would do anything for Fiona.
Congratulations to one and all especially the boy himself.
