Huge congratulations to Michelle and Linda on Ellie and Miss Dior
We can't wait to see Miss D and Michelle in the ring next year
I am still trying to console alan, as he bought Ellie the second he saw her and before we had even stopped the lorry.
The filly is 84% arab and I think she is one of the prettiest foals I have ever seen....and the cheekiest.
I am sure that Linda will post some upto date pictures very soon...
Love Jackie & Alan xxx |

Congratulations Linda and Michelle!
She really is one super filly and lovely mare too.
I remember reading somewhere about how you got into arabs and i seem to remember that one of your first horses was a palamino, so its lovely to hear you are going back to something you love and combining it with the arabs. |

Once again, many thanks,
I cannot take any credit for the lovely Miss Dior, she was bred by Jackie & Alan and is by their wonderful stallion "Emenes"
Emma, I bought a very young palomino gelding years ago and it broke my heart when I sold him, he was the love of my life! But I was not good enough to ride him, I fell off soooo many times, so I sold him to a top AI instructer in West Sussex, she loves him to bits, he is almost human!!
My real love has always been the palomino's and then the pure breds, so I hope to breed a pure bred that looks like a palomino, but I think Jackie & Alan have beaten me to it
But what a good head start we have
We are very excited about the future,

I think its great Linda, particularly with Michelle often working away that you have gone back to your intial love the palaminos, must have been a really tough decision to make with your super collection of arabs at home too.
And what a super way of promoting arab blood at the same time because there are so many little girls out there that always dream of having a pretty palamino so if there is an arab looking one then even better! (I have to say i wasnt one of those girls, i grew up wanting a dun so if you happen to end up with an arab looking dun then i will have it! )
Jackie and Alan have done a super job with their palaminos, i cant imagine there is another stallion that holds such an impressive record as Jacala Morning Gold so you certainly have a great starting point there and Jackie is always full of information even on the most obscure things as i discovered the other day !
Good luck and lots of photos to keep us posted please, especially of that gorgeous girl growing up! |

Hi Emma
Thanks for your kind words about Jacala Morning Gold - he is something special and it is lovely to see the bond that he and Natalie have got between them. We are hoping to have him in the show ring again next year for more people to see him.
They should make a formidable pair him and Miss Dior!!!!! (hey Linda, theres a match I have just thought of mmmmmmm)
Jackie xx
ps: Emma I am full of useless information lol (have sent you a pm)

Crikey that took me back - I started in palominos. Do they still come out to check colour before registration. My best mare was by a horse called Windrush Water Boatman - theres a name !! Can't remember the name of the gut that helped me alot. He was from Nottingham way, a judge ????? Ooooo that'll drive me mad now !! We used to have quite a few very good breeders around here back in the....... ahem 70's |

Hi Delyth,
Blimey I didn't know you started with palomino's,
Yes, they do still come & see the horses first,
I used to be a member of the palomino society before getting into pure breds, I really hope I can breed a foal like Miss Dior, Jackie & Alan will guide me
