l am sorry l did not notice your post before.. l have a contact in NZ who specialises in research into equine lameness, she has done wonders with many equines written off by vets and insurance companies
she has also written some amazing papers, has had spectaclular results, often is called in by vets for consulations, l have learned a lot from her.....
if you would like l can put you in contact with her she might well be able to help you and your chap..
