Im really pleased to say that Rebel is leaving my yard today to go to his 1ST ever show Rebel is going to be doing a walk and trot dressage test at our local rodbaston equine college. Im so nervous for him!!!!!!!!!! Im not taking him in im not confident enough ill prob forget it so nigel my yard owner is going to ride him for me.
Rebel looked like a bay last night with all the mud im hoping that he has kept himself a bit clean this morning or it will be battle stations to make him look dappled grey intime.
I never thought that we would get to this stage with him being sound to go.
Sorry for going on hehehe im just excited. I'll try and take loads of pictures of him there strutting his stuff
Please all think of Rebel at 5.40pm today going in the ring. PLEASE dont buck Rebel

Best of luck.
Can't wait to hear how he gets on. And why is it that the greys are always the dirtiest beasts in the field?? Mine's the same. LOL:) |

Hi all, update :) rebel didint travel the best the stomping around in the trailer a bit having a temper. We got there and Tacked him up He was golden but looked a little short on his back leg prob him having a paddy in trailer. He went in the ring and was golden for his 1st time out :) I wasnt expecting anything as i wasjust so proud of him being there in the 1st place. He CAME 7th :) we got our 1st ever rosette Nigel the guy that rode him said he made some silly mistakes but missing markers etc to walk but was delighted with how he went. Soooo im coming away with his 1st rosette and a long video of his test as camera not too good in the dark. Thanks all for your support

Well done!! He did so well for his first (of many, I hope) outings. He looked so much better in the second half of the video, probably realised that the scary white boards, don't actually eat horses. LOL:)
I think you have a little star in the making there.:) |

That was an absolute joy to watch - thank you so much for sharing.
A cracking performance for their first time out and Rebel is so balanced and kept up such a steady rhythm throughout - first of many outings and definitely on the way to many, many rosettes.
Congratulations to all three of you |
