Hi Judith
Any idea of Just Jubilee's age? I knew the Culverwood stock, so here's hoping! |

Hi Lynda
I've been offered a brood mare - shes Roundhills Messina - I've put her details up on www.allbreedpedigree.com/roundhills+messina - she was born in 1994 - so work back from there? Blank after Just Jubilee on dams side - any ideas? Also blank after Frogmore Irish Gold & Kinsettle Quebec - so any info much appreciated - anyone?
Shes got Zalaman bloodlines - which I love!
Any help much appreciated |

Hi Judith
Managed to contact people who owned Just Jubilee, and they are getting back to me. Also you had the wrong Phantom Shadow in the pedigree, so I have changed it to the right one. I found Chestnuts Golden Miracle in an old catalogue of Arab sales that used to be held at Newbury racecourse. This one was in 1974. So keep everything crossed! |

Do you keep all the old catalogues etc? Just goes to prove one should never throw amnything away

Know what you mean - when my father-in-law died in 2001 - we discovered that he had kept every boat & car mag he had ever bought since 1960 - there were many cupboards abso overflowing in the house - there must have been several thousand mags we had to get rid of!
I'm not a collector of things - although I think I could be - but limited storage space in past houses has stopped me!

Good news this morning
I have traced the breeding of Jubilee and Irish Gold as far back as I can, and have added the horses to the pedigree. The only one I haven't had any joy with is Quebec. Although I have found sire and dam of Just Honey, their breeding is unknown. |

Hi Judith I see that you have horses that have Chestnuts Golden Miracle in their Pedigree. The lady that owned miracle was a friend of mine in the Midlands and her stud prefix was Colebridge. Another friend of mine in Wales had 2/3 of her horses and they were exceptional pba show horses both in hand and under saddle. She also has stock bred from them at present. If I can help with any further information, please contact me. regards Jackie
ps: I have a Roundhills cremello mare who is by Shulay Faberge out of Shepley White Jasmin who I will be putting with my pure bred arab colt this year for a palomino. |

Hi Judith
If you are still interested in Kingsettle Quebec, I'm sure she would have been bred by Jane Howell of Kingsettle Stud who I trained with 1980-82. Before my time but I'm sure I remember seeing a headcollar with a brass nameplate with Quebec on hanging in the tack room (strange thing to remember after 25 years I know!). The stud was near Salisbury at the time but moved to Wales about 18 years ago. Mrs Howell breeds Arabs and Palominos. If you would like her address please e mail me on jackie@taranaki.plus.com and I'll send it to you.

Hi Jackie Yes Mrs Howells prefix if Kingsettle and she is based in Llandysul. She is Secretary of the British Palomino Society and I beleive she is still breeding but not on the large scale that she was.

Hiya Judith My palomino stallion is out of Just Jubilee. I could email you a photo of him if you like. He has a temperament to die for ! Just Jubilee is by Chestnut's Golden Miracle out of Just Honey. Chestnuts Golden Miracle is by Phantom Shadow out of Culverwood Golden Leaf. Just Honey's sire is Ziree Elwada who is sired by Naseel. Hope this has been of some help :-)) kind regards Caroline |

I think you probably mean Ziree el Wada who came over from Ireland and was owned by Mr and Mrs Hedley in Cumbria.
She features in Tamila and Rimarli's pedigree. |

Hiya Sarah
Yes it's the same me !
Bullion is still doing really well. He's part of the fixtures and fittings . It was 1995 when we bought him from you - time certainly has flown !!
He is still a real gentleman and has a home with us for life. There will hopefully be a few Bully Babies on the ground next year as he is going to be running out with about six mares this year - he'll think all of his bithdays have come at once
Hope you are all doing well. Can you shed any light on Just Jubilee ?
best regards Caroline |

hi Glad its you - had tried to get in contact but with no luck - its nice to know he is still with you. We still have a chestnut gelding here with us at livery - one of his first foals - Sameon Kabu. We took him out to a show as a supprise for his owner and he took four 1sts and championship. I emailed Judith with all the info I had on Jubilee. Do you have any photos of Bertie (if you still call him that) you could send / email. Sarah |
