Hi all
Just a quick question, i thinking about having some photos done of my gelding and would like to know, whether any of you have had this done, and how much it costs.
Also if you know of anyone else that can come to you and take pictures.
Reason being i would like a little portfolio done of him for my 21st birthday!!
If unable to post on here please could you email me on hannahryan_44@hotmail.com
THanks, Hannah

My friend is an amateur photographer and only charges £10 for as many piccies as you like. She puts them on disc so they are there to keep.
If you are local [West Midlands] she would be happy to do them for you.
If you want to see some of her work, look at the grey gelding photos on my Gallery section of my web site |

I don,t believe you can go wrong with Eric G Jones as he is not only an artist and equine photographer of some standing , but he has a lifetimes experience of Arabian horses. I got a headstudy of my best mates Crabbet gelding done for ??y birthday ( significan birthday....ssshhh) and as Eric had taken photos of this horse during the horses 15y endurance career, Eric new every line of the horse and captured not only the expression and beauty but also his spirit and attitude. Unbeatable...........Polly |

Hi Hannah I've used Erwin a couple of times. He is great and always gets the shot. If you mail him I bet he's over here for Towerlands and would incorporate a shoot for you which would keep costs down. He's not cheap but he takes 'Arabian' photos. How about Dean ?? He's had some great shots this summer ???? |

I've also used Erwin and had some incredible photos of Mares, foals and youngsters - he can really get the arabian look. You can see his latest shots of my colt on the the profile of the Egyptian Event Europe that has just gone up on the other site - mine was the only UK entry so you can't really miss him As Delyth said, if you contact him now you may get a good price after Towerlands.

Hi Hannah,
I would strongly recommend Erwin - he photographed my mare last year and I am ever so pleased with them.
Some of the photos he took of my mare are in my signature.
Best of luck with who ever you choose.

Hi Hannah,
Aww thanks - she's so sweet Is that your boy in your signature? He's lovely!
I can't remember how many photos I have, about 20 I think. Erwin kindly put the 'special ones' into a beautiful photo album too. I'd say it was definitely worth contacting him.

Yes that is him in the pic. Its not a very good picture, but he is Such a show off! that was taken a couple of years ago now! His mane is the same length as agonias really, past his shoulder, its plaited up in a running plait everyday as his little companion likes to itch and me and mum are so worried its going to come out!! It started off really short!!!
I should see you soon lauren as i going to see Jo soon (well after they all come back from holiday - my mum is going aswell!, ive fallen in love with one of the foals the older of the 2 that is for sale on her! she is stunning, and i love margus aswell! wanted to take them home! Thanks for all your replies. |
