Does anyone have any pictures of this horse born in 1954. He was by Golden Trail out of Muston Sult.
I know Mrs Howell owns the Kingsettle stud and have seen photos of Kingsettle Zecchino and Ecu. Any photos of this line would be greatly appreciated (especially Golden Trail)
Many thanks Debbie

Hi I knew I had photo somewhere of Goldeb Trail. I found it in a very old collection of assorted clippings from magazines and annuals. This one is of Golden Trail, from a Pony or Riding Annual from the 1960s. I thought I had one of Kingsettle Moidore of Muston, cos he was our favourite palomino of that time, but he hasn't survived my migration onto arabians! Becky

Wow honeybunch Thankyou so much. I always wondered what he looked like but hadnt seen a picture anywhere.
All bigger palominos in this country seem to go back to him so he must be really prolific.
I will update my photo pedigree for my girls now. I thought the Kingsettle Moidore of Muston request was a long shot but it is nice to find someone who remembers him. Do you know how big he was or can you describe him?
Best wishes and thanks again Debbie |

That photo must be a rarity. I worked at Kingsettle in the early 80's and don't think I ever saw a photo of Golden Trail! Mrs Howell is not a fan of having her horses photographed! Moidore was before my time I'm afraid, but I did know Ecu very well and have a few photos of him if you're interested.. |

Thanks Sarah... that photo is fab. It is amazing what people can come up with on this site. It is really nice to be able to see how the genes pass down the line when you can research these horses back. My photo pedigree chart is looking very full now.
Jak I would be interested in seeing photos of Ecu. He is still advertised in the BPS magazine but it looks like he was young on the picture in there.
I have also got a picture of Zecchino in a book of old pictures somewhere if anyone interested.
Best wishes to all Debbie

Hi From my memory - and let's face it, this is a long time ago, He was about 13.2 ish, quite an araby pretty head - not heavy, more the Bubbly type. I think he was on the front cover of Pony magazine in the late 60s. He won a lot and that's why he was in Pony magazine and probably Horse and Hound. |

Cheers honeybunch. I guessed he would be smaller because his son Readytoken Lucky Coin was only 14.2 hh.
It is great to have these snippets of personal information. Brings the old horses back to life! All the best debbie |

Hi Sarah Jen Maskell sorted them out for me. They were 75p each but worth every penny. The first one I looked at had Fayre's great, great grandad in it.
Am going to try to buy older ones if they have any left. It seems they started going to press in Spring 1958.
BTW Kingsettle Moidore of Muston was PTS at age 33 so another longliving relly. Best wishes Debbie |

Hi Sue There are loads of pictures of Ecu and Bubbly so I will scan these in when I get chance later. They are different ones to those found by Sarah so we will have quite a collection at this rate. Havent noticed any of Bubble yet. Debs |
