Two Arabs going through the sales:
MR C SMOOTHY
47. N.F.S “Al Haj”. Bay registered Arab Stallion, 15-1hh, 10y/o, excellent breeding – Shapoor and Melchior lines. Lovely mover and temperament. HB only.
48. “Al Jihad”. Grey Arab Gelding, 15-2hh, 12y/o. Full brother to “Al Haj”. HB only. Has been started for breaking but has been heard to make a noise.
I do hope they find good homes!!

| I think the stallion was advertised on another site for about £1200, photo he looked in nice plump condition and out with a companion. I just heard today that one I had for 13 years is now back for sale, he's 18 and I thought he would live out his retirement in same home, still looking for the advert! |

Al Haj, the stallion is safe with my sister - emagetic. I knew his brother was entered for the sales tomorrow... hence Emma's post about what the market is coming to - see AL discussion.
I just hope the woman hasn't given Vicky duff info when she says he's not going!

| Angela even if he does go i WILL be there! Yhe main reason he's not going though is she has'nt had his passport back yet, so no passport no sale (just for once the AHS being late with passports is a good thing lol) |

yes Manavah is for sale on another site, such a dote he used to cover in a headcollar or run out and wait till the ladies chased him for attention.
Very easy to break to ride, loved being hacked out alone or with any other horse that was going. internationally qualified and sired same. feeling quite nostalgic, but i have his daughter. |

Hi Vicki,
I've only just realised your at the sales tomorrow, as Em mentioned it to me. I know she does have the signed noted from the breeder for him for the ownership transfer... as she had it at weekend..
Am glad your going to be there as a precaution as well as to check the other horses there. As we discussed, the arab is a lovely boy (as is Al haj, hence he's here).

Angela, i dont think they will accept him without the passport, even with the slip, i suppose its probably to much hassle for the auctioneers otherwise. I promise i will come on here as soon as i come home tomorrow, just to reassure everyone that he wasnt there!
Judith, it would be lovely to meet you, put a face to the name! I really hope you move goes smoothly, i know what its like as ive only been in my house 2months, loads of stress & hassle lol...i hope i dont see another cardboard box for a very long time!! |
